Letter To G-d

Dear G-d,

You are the ultimate author of life; you began this world with Love and Hope that your children would accept your story. You are truth, and truth is life. Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder, and the only true Beholder is you, Lord. You give me the breath of life everyday, the mind to think, and the words to speak. You give me free will to make my own choices and in turn, I draw close to you for guidance and comfort. You are my Creator, my Father, and Christ is my Savior.

I should only hope to live in the Light of Christ and understand what it means to do so. Obedience and devotion are struggles; persecution and humiliation as well. Life is suffering, and I am homesick. I want to come home to you, Father.

I want to Love myself as you created me and shine for you as a messenger of your Glory. Your Grace is enough, Lord. Forgive me my trespasses this day. I strive and thirst to know Christ, to live as he did--to Love as he did and reach out to people who are lost.

Christianity is not about fear of Eternal Damnation; it is about exuding the self to be more like Christ everyday and in every way imaginable.

I am fallible because of the sin of Man.

I am a sinner.

Father, forgive me.

Guide me, Lord...I need you now more than ever to reach into my heart and show me the only True Love I strive to obtain: Your Love.

G-d is True Love.

Had the letter been to progressive to unite against the theists, would you have been so offended? I think not. Get over yourself. Eat more peeps.

I disagree.

I think you're the first Christian that I've seen write God that way.

Half of my family is Protestant and the other half Jewish...so..I don't know why I do it. I just do.

I don't see how it is inappropriate at all.

I didn't say it was inappropriate. Just a little unexpected. Which half of your family is Jewish, if I may ask?
