Peaceful Protests across the Pan-Global map

Over the last few months, an Internet group known as "Anonymous" has started a worldwide protest of the Church of Scientology. From Feburary 10th, Anonymous has stood outside these churches in order to shut down the organization.

Now, Anonymous is rather annoyed at this so called faith, for quite a few things. For example, Scientology's "Fair Game Law" is a memo advocating its members to do whatever they can to an individual who speaks out against Scientology. Usualy, it involves a court case. But more to the point is Scientology's covert operations. Especially one known as "Operation Snow White".

Operation Snow White was Scientologie's way to gain Tax Exempt status. By stealing documents and strong arming the IRS with threats, The IRS gave Scientology tax exempt status in 1993 without any real reason, even after they revoked its status in 1967. Even though there were Eleven top executives from the church convicted of these crimes in federal court, that hasnt stopped Scientology from other acts which seem debased and debauched.

Scientology has a policy to deny psychiatric help to its members. One such person, Lisa McPherson (1959-1995) was involved in a traffic collision. Instead of being taken to a hospital, she was taken to the Fort Harrison Hotel by her fellow Scientologists. As part of an "Introspective Rundown" They kept her in surveillance for two and a half weeks, in which she died of dehydration.

From Feb. 10th, to March 15th (AKA Operation Party Hard), to April 12th (AKA Operation Reconnect, to reconnect those who have been taken by "Introspective Rundowns), to May 10th (Operation Game Over, to fight Scientology's Fair Game law), to the newest Protest on June 14th, aka Operation Sea ARGHHHHH, as a protest against Scientology's disrespect and abusive nature to Sea Org. In all of these protests, there have been no deaths or injuries

The whole point of these rallies and protests is to spread awareness. To stop something that should not be going on in the first place.

Anonymous, taking its name from the message boards where its members converse with one another, wears masks, usualy those of V from the comic series V for Vendetta. And just like V, Anonymous takes the idea that Beneath the masks they wear lies not a man, but an idea. And Scientology cannot destroy an Idea.
