Well, the school year starts in less than a month at my school and it sounds more like a zoo than a school. We have half of our school closed through poor planning as renovations occur. Starting this year, our school day had been extended by over 15 minutes so that the teachers can get together and meet on Tuesdays, getting us out early. That isn't fair. School starts at 7:00 am and to make us get out of school at well after 3:00 so that they can meet is stupid. They don't talk a lot about their departments or anything as far as I've seen. Along with that, students are forced to go to assemblies during the school day. They were previously optional depending on the teacher. Our school is really messed up this year and it's not going to be a fun school year.

Where do you go to school since y'all start at 7??? That is wayyy too early. Most schools that start at 7 usually get out at 2. At least you don't have to wear uniforms.

I go to school here in the midwest and it is just our school that is doing all of this. We used to get out at 2:45, but now we get out after 3:00 and it isn't fair.
Ugh. I hate poetry and my school is making every senior in a full year English class take six weeks of poetry. Yucko. So far, the only classes that I still like reasonably well are AP Government and Politics (GoPo) and Newspaper. Even band is getting old.
