What is family? When I think of family I tend to think of a family that has a mom a dad and children who have there problems but at the end of the day love each other. That's kind of the typical standard for familys at least I think it is. But for me family is divorced parents, a somewhat alcholic depressed can't keep a job dad that hardlly has enough money to survive, a mom who is money crazed, materialistic, cold hearted and quite lazy, a sister who couldnt stand living with me and my mom so she moved out and is now living with her boyfriends mom, she is depressed, quit college, and will probably end up working at papa murphys for the rest of her life. And then theres me. I work my but off to get the best grades in school, I try so hard to be more applicable and more likely accepted to colleges, I want to get out of this town and away from my family, I am depressed like the rest of my family, yes I'm a little tough, jaded and I have a lot of walls and barriers. What is family to you? (dont judge) Is there technically a standard of a family?
