Remember when you were young and you were really into movies? Most people probably watched movies like Speed, rooting the whole time for Keanu Reeves. Or remember Heat? That movie was hot. Its a funny thing that I never really expressed to people around me; I like rooting for the bad guy. In fact I love the Bad Guy in movies....I ronically I rarely even know the characters name.

My favorite bad guy in a movie has to be Captain Hook......Please dont laugh.
That was the first real Bad Guy that encountered on a movie screen. Particularly from the movie "Hook". I hated Rufio. I hated all the lost boys because they were in tights. I loved hook because he said and did what he wanted, and he didnt wear tights!...

Moving on to a more present character is Sam Jackson from Pulp Fiction. One of my all time favorite movies. Sam Jackson showed in that movie that a bad guy could have a heart, even if it was buried 10 feet deep in his chest cavity. I loved how he did his job in such a smooth proffessional way, especially when John Travolta blew that guys head off in the car. The whole scene at Tarantino's house was classic.

An even more recent Bad Guy for whom I couldnt help but root for was "The Wire's" Stringer Bell. He was the business man, that ran a multimillion dollar drug enterprise, and still had the time to attend college classes from season one through season three. For some reason I just loved to watch him handle the "drug game" like a fortune 500 company. Once he was dead at the end of season three, it was great how the police raiding his apartment found it more cultured than any of their homes.

Those are just a few of my favorite bad guys. I dont know why but it seems to me that in the face of danger or termoil its the bad guy who seems to keep his cool and handle the situation with a clear head. The bad guy is always the coolest. He is the BAD GUY! What else is there to say.

I would like those reading this blog not to really comment on my bad guys, but leave me YOUR top 5 Bad Guy List. Here's myne.

Val Kilmer in Heat was an excellent bad guy, same with Deniro.
Although I tend to enjoy the more crazier villians such as Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs or Jim Carrey in Cable Guy. But by far the best all time villian is . . .

Heath Ledger in the Dark Knight. (No, Im not saying this just because he died). His performance was legendary in that movie.
