Our government is in absolute turmoil as this point and present time. We are fighting a "War of Terror". Terror indeed. Not for the citizens of the U.S. but for the much more unfortunate citizens of Iraq. Our U.S. soil needs more help than ever in restoring the exact duty of law officials before we should even consider invading another country who has their own problems to deal with. I guarantee the new Twin Towers will never fall again until we need more oil. This country has wiped out the true meaning of being patriotic by going to war with a completely innocent country. Our goal was to smash terrorism with the aid of our fellow allies in the United Nations. And our main objective was to seek and find Osama Bin-Ladin. Where did Sadam Hussain come from?

Well, if it wasn't for the embarrassing display of Hussain's casino that had Sr. Bush on a rug at the entrance we may not be in a war at this point and time. Sure they had weapons of mass destruction but going overseas to search for weapons to me seems rediculous. Weapons can be easily hidden and transported through various underground intelligence. They know their soil a lot more than we do. So what were we actually looking for then? Ofcourse we weren't going to find "weapons of mass destruction". This view is similar to your mom telling you to clean your room and you stuff everything under the bed. Sure it looks clean but is it?
The best way to restore peace in my humble opinion is to use peaceful tactics. War tactics only cause anger and confusion amongst respected nations. President Bill Clinton created many peace acts and treaties during his time of presidency and the violence in the Middle East seemed to be sudsiding especially after Bin Ladins leading of genocide in South Africa.

Iraq did not have so-called "weapons of mass destruction." No reasonable reading of the intelligence we had available at the time could conclude that.

Sad that many people still don't realize that.
Although, as a Philosophy Prof of mine once said "it doesn't matter what the intelligence said: it matters that no one cares what the intelligence said."
