Why isn't anyone doing anything about the AIDS epidemic in Africa. It seems that we have given up on Africa. AIDS treatment is becoming more affordable and has improved, but the condition in Africa has not improved. Will anyone do anything about this or will we just let Africa become infested with the disease? The problem will only get worse if we do not take action. If we would have spent the time and money 10-15 years ago to help prevent and treat the disease in Africa, there would be less people who have the disease today. The longer we go without doing something more, the greater the problem will be, and the more it will eventually cost us in the long run. What can be done?
