Dust off your blog, crack your knuckles, grab your beverages and get ready to go it again! The Spring 2008 Blogging for Progress Scholarship Contest is right around the corner!
The contest begins on February 15, 2008 and will run until noon PST on June 30, 2008. In order to be eligible for the scholarships, you must be registered here at ProgressiveU by no later than April 15, 2008. (Please note that if you are joining us after seeing an announcement on a scholarship listing site one of the details listed might have been listed incorrectly. Points towards the contest will continue to accumulate until June 30, 2008, not April 15, 2008 as may have been listed!)
As you may have noticed, the Official Rules have changed a little this time around! We now require 200 words of original content. This decision was made after moderators received a boatload complaints by members that the 100 word minimum just wasn't enough. So, your wish was our command and we updated that minimum.
We have also updated the Terms of Service and added an explanation of personal attacks. And as you will soon see, have added a few other features and projects to keep the contest fresh, exciting and invigorating.
The moderators have been hard at work during the off season working to implement the changes all of you requested and we hope that they are everything you wished for and more! In addition to working on all of those new features and ideas, the moderating team has grown by leaps and bounds. If you haven't already become acquainted with the newest members of the team, make sure you keep an eye out for them. You can tell who is a moderator by the badge that appears by their username in blogs and comments. If it says ProU Faculty Member or ProU Alumni Director, you've found your moderator! You can also find an updated list of moderators here. Feel free to contact any of them for help, to leave comments, suggestions or to ask questions!

I found this website on a lnk from another website that delt with scholarships. I was wondering if the dates where a typo or something since it had said that it ended on April 15, 2008. But now I am aware that it actually ends until June 30, 2008, though it starts on February 15, 2008. Thank you for posting this.
