I am worried about the rash of "racist" comments going on right now. You know what? You can't throw someone in jail for offending you. It just doesn't work that way. Everyone needs to start not taking things so personally. Is a lighthearted jest about someone to be taken as a projection on the whole race of people that the one person is? No. So let's stop making it that way. Someone needs to stand up and say how wrong it is of black people to accuse white people of racism, when they are just as racist! This goes for Hispanic peoples, Middle-Eastern peoples, Asian peoples, white peoples, and black peoples. The only race that matters is the human one.

Everything must be so politically correct these days. People need to know a joke or a jest when it comes and laugh at it. Racism is still a huge issue, but a lot of times, it's over petty little things.

i work at pacsun & we would get "talked to" if we said "merry christmas" back to a customer who'd just said it. it was irritating. yes, i do celebrate christmas but if somebody told me "happy kwanza" or something, i'd wish it back to them too. why does wishing somebody something good go right down the toilet now a days. i mean, yes, that might not be your religion but it's better than saying "oh have a horrible december 25th", or something worse.
