Do what you dream of...

Today one of my friends came up to me and asked, "What should I go to college for?" He's a sophmore, but pretty smart, book smart that is because after what he says, I don't know about him.
My first response, "What do you like?" Now what he tells me, I don't even know what to think about it. He says I like Art, but you don't make a lot of money if you go into that major.
Ok, hold on. I have to agree that Art probably isn't going to make the most money, but your still going to make a lot. I'm not putting down Art people who is reading this so keep that in mind because I want them to become what they want to be and do what they like. This is the same thing that I told my friend. I said, "It shouldn't matter about the money, it's should be about what you want to be. What does your heart tell you." I tried to encourage him to become who he wants to be.
So many people I think face this problem in life. They become someone they don't want to be. Simply because of money I think these days. You better stay on track and go into what you like because once you get so far, you can't really come back.

My brother is the best artist that I know, always has been. Not cuz he is my brother but because he just is. He did not take the opportunity to go to art school when he had the chance cuz, well I'm not exactly sure why. So now he works for Dell putting together computer processors and hates his job. He still draws and actual did a mural in his duaghter's room to make it look like a castle. (It's awesome) I know if he had it to do over again he would go to that art school in a heart beat and be making money doing what he loves.
