It grinds my gear when my mother turns out to be right. I mean, can I be right about something that I fought tooth and nail for. NOPE! She is right. it totally sucks that she is right but she will never know! lol.
So I was friends with this chick for like four years and things started getting more serious. We were inseparable but it took a surprise kiss to get the train choo chooing. Well, so my best friend became my girlfriend. Next week, I get a hickey. (THE BLOW UP OF THE CENTURY) My mom flips out yadda yadda yadda. She tells me she doesn't like said chick and that she is manipulative and a snake in the grass. I'm hurt blah blah blah. (Don't really want to embellish not needed)
So like we get 5 months together and it is fun and upsetting at the same time. I get tired of the comments the looks. Mom being a mother and being a pain in my side. Our relationship goes from okay to respectfully hostile. So time for college, FREEDOM!! Me and chick still together just a day (in a car) away from each other. Making plans, talking for hours.
Time passes people change. Chick and I are no longer seeing eye to eye. Distance can do that to a person. i want to go forward. She goes backward. Time to split. So we did but that still my BFF so we do that for a while. Then the arguing. We NEVER argued unless it was playful. So....hum who's changing showing their true colors. One good argument and chick crossed the line and its done. 5 almost 6 years down the drain.
Don't get e wrong i dont regret anything except for the fact that my mother and i relationship got respectfully hostile especially since she was right. Love or an emotion like that can make you blind as a bat. The manipulator/ chick got me! Damn mothers and their experience. LOL
