we need to stop putting all the blame on hip hop videos....first of all i love hip hop and yes i watch hip hop videos all the time. matter of fact i've grown up on hip hop videos and i have never wanted to be a stripper, i have never wanted to be in a hip hop video, i have never been a slut. To be honest i had parents that explained to me the difference between what's on Tv and whats real. yeah some hip hop videos are graphic but not all. we cant sit here and blame tv for the way our children act. if parents took responsiblity and raised their kids we woulnt be having this conversation. i love hip hop music it is part of a culture that so many dont understand. I'm not saying u should let ur kids watch any and everything..... lets be a real a 6 year old should not be watching videos...but if ur 15 year is watching BET and all of a sudden they want to give BJ's thats because of ur parenting. There are too many women and men in the world who watch hip hop videos and dont want to be pimps and hoes. No one ever says anything about tv shows like the bad girls club, rock of love,or the xeffect on mtv and vh1..... everyone of those shows show sex .....everyone of them. We really need to stop trying to blame everything on hip hop... i hate to tell u but hip hop isnt going anywhere no matter how much u try.

I agree, I think people in the media jump to too many conclusions about popular culture. They like to blame everything on music or TV or movies or video games when in reality, if your kids are too stupid to know the difference between what they see on a flatscreen and reality, then who's really to blame?

I agree. I think that the problem is parents are too lazy to get up and teach their kids the difference.
I used to want to be a dancer in hip-hop videos, but I decided to pursue a career that wouldn't be over when I start to age.
