As we sit in our living room in front of our fire places, we are only worried about superficial problems. A new car maybe. We never seem to think about those who have nothing. No protection from the cold or the outside world. What about those who have no food in their stomach or have to work all day to earn a dollar a day? What about them?
This is your time to give back. To make somebody's halloween. Unicef has always been there to help children in the third world countries. This fall they are doing a fundraiser called the Trick or Treat for Unicef. I urge all of you to raise money during this month, so it can be sent to UNICEF.
Stores here have the trick or treat for UNICEF boxes set up. It's a great idea and helps the wee ones get involved when they might otherwise be overlooked.
