Obama

How does Obama participating in a ritual of his country make him a bad person? In my opinion Hillary Clinton needs to back down. I don't personally believe a word that comes out of her mouth, but that has nothing to do with why I didn't vote for her. She wavers on her subjects. Maybe not intensely but she often has to back track. The Clinton campaign is very good as cleaning up. Maybe that could be a strong attribute for our country, the ability to clean up the messes we seem so able to make.

However I feel as though our country needs a change, needs to actually be the melting pot we talks so proudly of being. We may be a melting pot, but why do we feel then that only a white catholic is capable of protecting our country? Why won't we accept a white woman at the least? I don't think we need another ruler through a ruler right now. Clinton had his chance as president and does not need to make Hillary his puppet. Unfortunately I feel as though having Hillary be our president would be worse than having Obama.

Obama is an amazing man, who really wants our country to become a better place for us to live. There is nothing wrong with Obama participating in his culture, we are all often encouraged to fully embrace our culture. Now our society may not help us like they should but there is nothing wrong with curiosity. Obama has been noble, not fighting aggresively in this race. Do we really need another hot head illiterate fool taking control of our well being?

Pardon my harshness however I feel as though our country is not giving him a chance. Cut the poor guy a break he is doing wonderfully in this race and deserves a bit more respect from all of us. He might have been wearing a damn turban, but was he holding a gun? Knife? A sign saying "Lets kill all the Americans!" NO! He had a cane, he looked innocent in fact, and we need to trust our candidates at least slightly.

He is a good man, as Hillary is a good woman. But frankly, wouldn't you want someone who stood behind something more than an ugly pant suit?

Change is all fine and dandy, but the reforms each candidate wants costs $$$. We don't have this kind of money in the nation. We're in debt, we need to cut back on reforms till we gain a grasp on our debt.

Unfortunately our country will most likely always be in debt. Plus, if they didn't propose any type of reform, then what would we have to back up our choices? Their personalities? Reforms will always be around, it just may take a while for them to become effective. Money is the root of most problems, so I don't believe we can ever get around that, though I wish we could!

Ah it seems like a lifetime, the last time we had a balanced budget with a surplus. It was only 9 years ago. It can happen it just depends on honest politicians.....more so than the usual. The lobbyists, there are a record number of earmarks on this last budget. Earmarks? for all sorts of stuff, from the relevant like public structures and facilities, to the not so like public money for private interest groups. It is amazing, this new Republican, not conservative beast is starving the machine to privatize it all. Industry run government, sounds efficient, like Enron, or Delta.

He's American. Born in Hawaii. Mom was born in Kansas. Estranged father born in Kenya. And the picture I think you're referring to, where he's dressed in Somalian garb... well, he's not Somalian, and that's not his culture.

Africa isn't just this one giant country. It's composed of several states.
