Despite my absence for a while I am still alive and well. I have really missed Pro U and I'm glad that I can finally find the time to be back. Since the last time I've been here a lot has happened. I broke it off with Luke (for those of you that know about him) for the second time, and I now have a wonderful boyfriend named Alex. And the biggest change of all, I'm now officially a college student!
This is a very new and exciting time for me. I'm now at Bradley University, a private school in Illinois. Despite the hardships of getting here (I'm completely funding myself, which has left me too broke to even afford my books), I absolutely love it. I'm still highly involved in forensics with Bradley being one of the top speech teams in the country. And I truly see this as my opportunity to make change.
This year I am working on writing an after dinner speech (a persuasion with jokes) about the USDA which I will post when it is finished. I'm also working on a persuasion about reforming the child support system, which I will also post. And a new thing for me, I'm working on a prose called Tone by YZ Chin.
I'm so excited to share these things as well as all of the interesting stuff I'm learning. I'm going to try to pick something and post everyday now.
Like I said, I'm glad to be back.
I've missed you guys.

A nation of well informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the region of ignorance that tyranny begins.~ Benjamin Franklin.
