Tattoos: what's the big deal?

 Current mood: uneasy.

have you ever met someone with a tattoo .. or two or three. then they've done something to offend you and you say it's because they have tattoos.

what does that mean? the tattoo doesn't make or break a person.  I know that before i got my first tattoo when i'd see someone with a tattoo i'd want to see it, and want to know what the reason/story was for them having it. well now a year later. i have 3. 2, no all of them most the time you can't see. i got them all for different reasons. but when this summer i was out at the lake with my bikini on. i got called tramp. why? do they know me? i don't understand what people think, when they do things like this. i'm not a rude girl, or mean, i'm rather nice i think. i'm friendly. and just because i choose to have my body tattooed  doesn't make me a serial killer. or a tramp. 

sure these days tattoos are more exceptable. but, are they really? i think people just like to turn the other way instead of  commenting to much about them. I really just dont get what makes them so different from me? other than the fact, i have tattoos. i'm just like them. i dont live my life much different then them. i'm a christian. i have a good family that loves me. i have a boyfriend that i love very much. i'm not a high school drop out. i really just dont get why i get treated like crap simply for my tattoos. 

i think of them as like wearing a bracelet. its just always going to be there. i don't have the option of taking it off. i just wish people would stop judging me and everyone else that choose to have tattoos. mine aren't bad. evil or scary. i have music notes, flowers and butterflies. girlie things. i dont know about everyone else, but i didn't get mine for everyone else. i got them because  i wanted them. and they mean something to me.
