OK! So its my second day of blogging and already I am need to vent. Bear with me readers! Yesterday my aunt called to let me, my mom, and my grandmother know that my cousin was admitted into the hospital. He stayed over night and is still there today and will most likely have to stay tonight also. They don’t know what is wrong with him. He had a fever of over 105 I believe and although it drops sometimes it keeps going back up. The doctors told him that his white blood cell count is low. They tested him for a bunch of things, but everything comes back negative. In a way that is good, of course, but yet they still don’t know what is wrong with him. One of the doctors seems to believe it is another branch of the flu that they don’t know a lot about yet. Apparently many patients have been coming in with the same types of symptoms as my cousin. Hopefully they are able to discover what is wrong soon so he can get better. The ironic part of all of this is that he is currently an intern at the hospital he is at right now. He most likely picked up whatever he has from being in the hospital. This shows just how important it is for all of us to take care of ourselves. It sounds like simple nonsense stuff, but eating healthy, washing our hands, etc. makes a big difference. Please keep my cousin and the rest of my family in your prayers! I will keep all my readers updated! =) Thank you for listening to me vent.
