My Summary:
In 1970 the company, Goodyear promised their employees lifetime health care. Sine the health care cost have gone through the roof. Which made some guaranteed “lifetime” health care employees to start paying. The United Steelworkers union agreed to take over running the retiree medical plan from Goodyear. $1.2 billion will be received for retiree medical obligations in the future to help pay for the retiring baby boomer's health care that was promised to them. Wow, look how much has changed in the companies in just 30 years. Companies and employers have become a lot more greedier with money these days. They like to keep it all to themselves. Making people pay for as much stuff as possible so that the company doesn't have to.
