Alive Even in her death.

I had a friend who was born with cystic fibrosis. She was absolutely gorgious, and when she was little you could hardly tell that she was sick at all. She had a voice like an angel, and even tho she had trouble breathing, she loved doing it.

When she was on that stage, it was as if she was just like everyone else. Not a sick cell in her body... she was strong... gosh she was strong and her smile lit up the room.

It was only near her 16th year where things started rappidly going down so fast. She had a tube inserted into her neck and she constantly had to have her lungs pounded so she could just take one proper breath of air. Yet still... even tho she was so ill... she sang. She was proud of who she was, and it didnt matter how bad her situation was she still had that same smile and air of confidence as ever.

Two years ago she died on Christmas day, and she had one of the biggest funerals I've seen yet. I remember putting in the cd that they had recorded just a few weeks before she passed.. she was singing The Christmas Tree, and it was the prettiest I had ever heard her.

She died with so much honor and respect for holding herself high through all of those years of agonizing pain and suffering. She died with so much love and affection towards her and coming from her. All loved her and she loved them.
