Usually at this time of the year, the senior class gets lazy and begins to slack of in studying and in the classroom. I do not have this problem. Why? I'm not and will never be a second semester senior in high school. How did this happen?
To graduate in the state of New Jersey, one must have a minimum of four years of English and four years of Phys.Ed. My school has been doing this every since it began: My school allows the senior class to graduate in January. My senior classes this year were two periods of English, two periods of math, two periods of gym class, one social studies, and one drama class. Basically, I did a year's worth of work in five months. I read book after book and wrote essay after essay.
Why does my school do this? My school allows us to enter the work world early in order to make extra money for college or to figure out what college to go to and what major we're going to study. Also, the school encourages us to go on mission trips to help out the poor, which many people take advantage of the time after graduation. I know someone who's in India right now; one of my friends is in Mexico, etc.
Sure, I'm going to miss not going to dances, which is fine with me, since my school doesn't give them anyway. I also didn't have any AP class, but my school also didn't have enough teachers to teach extra classes.
Do you wish your school did this?
Can senioritis be cured?

I kind of do. This is a very interesting thing that your school does. More schools should consider this.
