Blogging for progress

I am new to this so here it goes. I am trying to raise money so that I can go to college. I am 22 married with two boys of my own plus three step kids. Being a working mother is practically impossible with so many small children. I can never count on a sitter, and kids are just always getting sick! after my last job terminated me for being in the hospital with my infant for a few days I decided I needed a life change. I am hoping to change my stars you could say. I want to make a difference in this world. I am going to study human servies and social science. I was a child to a gay mother and a absent father. I was a troubled teen who became a young mom. I want to be there for struggling youth to give back to those who were there for me.

I wish I could go on to say I am a part of this organization and that club. But the honest truth is I hardly have the time to help my own family and friends half the time! I see going back to school as my step toward progress. The part of life that I took a detour to but that I managed to find. I want my children to be proud of me. I want to be able to show them how college helped me achieve so much in life. That way they will be more encouraged to do so themselves.

I know that i can do it. I graduated high school with my son proudly at my side. I hope to do the same at college.
