The Save Darfur Coalition has launched a new campaign asking people to write to their local newspapers about what's going on in Darfur. Since it's just about election time, politicians pay more attention than usual to the Letter to the Editor section to get a better idea of what people care about.
If you go to http://www.democracyinaction.org/dia/organizationsORG/darfur/pickMedia.jsp?letter_KEY=600 , you can enter your state, and they'll give a listing of address for local papers to send letters.
