Elders always ask, " what went wrong wit hyour generation?" Well, as a young person, I think I know what is gone awry with my generation. The answer: the media. No not global warming or LSD, the media!!!!!!! Think about it? Where would anorexic girls get their inspirations from if not from red carpet actresses? Where would action-craving boys get violent ideas from if not movies such as The Bourne Identity and Live Free Die Hard??? The media influences us teenagers to do whatever is "hip". How do we stop this?? BY taking a stand. If teenagers would realize that TV is just TV and not real life, that those actions we see on The O.C. and 24, can not and should not be done by real people who feel and can get hurt.

Hai,
You are right, but there are some elements that interfere in the realities that we live in our daily lives.
Sadly enough, little effort is being put in place to focus on the real reasons over why we need to question what is wrong or right in this world. Reason for this neglecting attitude is rather simple.
We live in a concept that has been put in place in order to control and abuse our (human) behaviour. The reflection of this taking place is not always understood and therefore affects our personal life if we start to question or doubt what is happening around.
Youngsters are cool, they are not to blame for there behaviour.
;-)
It's still unclear to how much movies and video games influence kids' decision to turn violent. But in most cases, peers or older teens are involved in persuading other kids to be violent. There is a lot of things wrong with our generation. At the same time, I think they had their own problem during their generation. Perhaps they forget what it's like to be a teenager?
