The Political Mr. or Mrs Universe Pageant continues. John McCain (the phoenix) is the apparent front runner. Last night John McCain and Mitt Romney were front and center in the Presidential Debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California.
Romney kept up the attack on McCain on the comments "Romney" made on scheduled withdrawal of troops in Iraq. Romney who originally said he shouldn't weigh in on this subject as a Governor, weighed in anyway with a secret withdrawal schedule several years ago.(He claimed he was supporting Bush).
The conservative talk show hosts "Shawn Hannity" and "Rush Limbaugh" continue to rail against the American Hero,John McCain, a graduate of the Hanoi Hilton. Your Funeral Guy, R.Brian Burkhardt Confesses that before becoming a funeral director he listened to "Shawn Hannity" and "Rush Limbaugh" daily during his "Newspaper" career. But now, I have changed my ways and repented of these small minded sins and gone on to victory.
Romney who is a growing legend in his own mind needs to give up his legend wanna be and stick to the issues. He continues to draw upon his 80 Million Dollar checkbook which is clearly unfair to other Presidential candidates.He needs to quit the personal attacks against McCain and conduct himself as dignified human being. It is legitimate to question whether Romney is capable of this kind of dignity.
Rudy's endorsement of McCain came on January 30th 2008 along with The Governor of California Arnold's (married to a "Kennedy") endorsement (after 2 pm Eastern time on January 31st according to "Fox News Live Desk" ). This may catapult McCain as the Republican Nominee. Indeed in terms of McCain"Conservative time" Romney has been a conservative for about a minute and a half.
Do not count out a possible third party "Mormon Money Run" by Mitt Romney. It is clear that many believe that Romney's God (god? God?) wants him to be the President. This would insure a Hillary or Obama election.
Again all this is only my opinion, It is not meant to attack or harm anyone. It is simply good political fun.
