So summer is almost over and school is about to start for me and I thought I should put in a post that explains everything that happened and everything I learned here on the ProgBlog (does anyone call it that? Because I kind of like it). I’m going to do this in a point format because I’m much to lazy to actually write it out in paragraph form (yes I’m horribly lazy but I do, do exercise so :P)(sometimes)
1) I learned more about how crappy my hometown community college is. This summer they offered my a 600 dollar scholarship for books to go to a school called Edison Community College, It was very nice of them but I’m not a big fan of the school so I’m most likely not taking it, AND THEY WON’T GIVE IT TO ME AS MONEY TO USE FOR OTHER SCHOOLS CUZ THEY SUCK. So now I’m going to use it as a back up.
2) I also learned that Scholarship searches suck, this is self explanatory for anyone who has ever searched for a scholarship.
3) One more sucky thing I learned is homework over the summer, which I have not finished (thanks to this site, I’m way to addicted, also for my extreme lazyness (see intro paragraph) But I’m working on it so don’t worry.
4) I learned how Fucking AWESOME Heath Ledger is (just watch “Batman” and “I’m not there”) so that was nice
5) Now about the ProgBlog (I’m calling it that from now on) You people (yes you people as in all of you people) are pretty awesome yourselves. I Have learned so freaking much from just reading and commenting. In fact I got this idea for this blog from EdibleWoman but what yeah gonna do (I did not copy because of the success of her blog, but only because it seemed appropriate since this as been one of my more informative experiences. Now let me see Darwin’s Beagle helped me understand Evolution, Atheism, how to spell Atheism, and String Theory (which I’m now reading up on) I also got to debate him about the end of religion (that was fun). Sawaboof has given me excellent book choices, music choices, and coffee choices (thanxs but I still love em’ iced!). I’ve talked to countless numbers of people and commented on countless numbers of blogs (actually I can count them but again lazy). Wombels, an awesome dude I have chatted with and he has shown me and informed me about human suffering, Ska preferences, music in general, and religious up endings, and so many other things. Now thankfully I’m NO where near as popular as EdibleWoman so I don’t have to mention as many people (because I doubt this will be read by many at all) BUT if you do read this and I did talk to you, I enjoyed it and thank you.
6) I got to form so many opinions that I get to take to school with me in this upcoming year. I now have at least some background to some great topics thanks to anyone who posted anything. I’ve read so many and got so many ideas off you guys that it was great and I did think that I owed some thanks, if my blogs affected anyone as much as everyones affected me I would be dumbfounded.
7) One of the coolest things that had little to do with the ProgBlog that happened this summer was I got to find a best friend, now though this is so cliché for some one my age (17) I really did find someone I can count on someone. Now I’m just telling you this because this blog is about summer by the way.
There is so much more that affected me but you know it would be too long a blog to go into all of it so im not going to… this as been so awesome a website where I could find a niche and im planning on staying for a long time to come. I hope to try to win the competition coming up (looking forward to the actual thing) but honestly even if I don’t I I’ll be happy because this place is so freaking awesome
Thank you to whoever read this and is now completing my childish…. Counter rant. It has been great and I plan on staying… so see you later.

You carry a unique way to express yourself, the topics you brought up in your blogs are quite unique too.
I believe you are constantly drugged by “love” of life, not many around on this platform express their personal emotion the way you do so beautifully.
Try to watch this movie, “Waking Life”
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7583894250854515095
Enjoy it, it is abundant in truth and I’m sure you might recognize some of the questions you might carry inside.
Good to read you are going to stick around, it’s not important if you win or don’t win this contest, people like yourself don’t win much in life, but mostly live a rich life because they carry a special seed inside, one of acceptance towards quickly changing surrounding realities.
Stay drugged and love yourself for who you are,

Keep up the good work. I look forward to competing against you as well this next semester. You've got an interesting viewpoint on the world and I hope you keep expressing it
hey now, I ice my coffee in the summer sometimes. ;-)
I'm glad you're sticking around for the upcoming contest. It is always fun reading your comments to people. I'm looking forward to some blogs. :-)

I find it funny that you call yourself lazy...just because you perhaps didn't do what somebody told you to because you saw no value in it? I don't know...that's more what I see. I see that you take action where you feel its best and you don't bother with the rest of the bullshit....I wouldn't call that lazy....you obviously know what you want and you are willing to do what you gotta do.

Doooooo it...
I can't wait for the contest! You did the right thing in joining at the end of the last contest and using the summer to hone your skills and learn the ropes. Smart move. You'll be ahead of the field when the contest starts.

Don’t forget to delete this blog before the start of the new “Battle Of Thoughts”….
It somehow might work against you! (gossip)
Avoid falling in love and break up with your girlfriend, this will provide you more time to spend on this platform.
Skip school and lock yourself up in your room is the best advice I can give you.
Never write blogs about abortion, no matter how you feel about it, abortion will make you to plunge in a vicious circle bad publicity and endless debate.
Make sure to put a fridge inside your room, so you have liquid and food in close proximity.
If you live home, skip lunch and dinner, avoid long conversations with any family member!
If you have a pet, a cat, goldfish, snake, turtle, rabbit, rat/mice or a hamster that’s just fine no (problem), in case you have a dog which needs to go out every 3 hours, give him to your ex or make sure he gets lost one way or another.
Never go out with friends!
Drop your cell phone in the toilet.
If you need any inspiration to write about, go wonder around in the red light district, rob a bank, beat up an old women in the street, pee upon a police car (make sure to get tasered), tell your dad mother is having an affair with your best friend, tell your mum your sister had an abortion, take some magic mushrooms and step inside a church to confess your sins, steel a bike of a three year old (kick his ass first), take your dad’s Visa card and get wild in Vegas, go to Hollywood and tell the movie agents you are the new “Light of the Future”!
If you survive write a book called: It was “I”
Collect your paycheck and start blogging….
Always remember to follow your heart, go for it!!!

That was a joke! It was not serious? Shiza, and I already flushed my phone and moved the computer closer to the fridge.

A nation of well informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the region of ignorance that tyranny begins. ~Benjamin Franklin
I find most of my inspiration by throwing people over bridges
but most of this would be a nice substitute.
(I also will make lotsa dead baby jokes just for kicks)
But thank you for some of the tips i just have to sort through the entire message to find it.
(I don't have a computer at home so most of my blogs will be written during free periods at school, everyday trips to the library, and the high jacking of the one labtop that "might" work at home....
But... You know how it is.
It sounds fun!!!!
Also How would it work against me?
I need to know also how to delete a blog??

The addiction has only began for you my friend. :) Your blogs are unique and good quality. I don't think you are that lazy...I can be pretty lazy as well. Blogs are one thing that I can work hard on though. I am glad you made a friend though! I have 2 "friends" that I talk to on the phone occasionally. Other than that my friends are on this site. :) I know it sounds strange, but it is awesome.
