I can't believe that people think that if so many people are doing it then the church should accept it. Child porn is becoming a "norm" in places so should we except that? There is a sin clearly stated to be more than any other sin. The immoral sin, sex, that is one and only one that is committed within the body. Just because society wants to take on sinful activities doesn't mean it has to be accepted and made to be ok. It is wrong, you use to be able to stone a person who committed such a sin, now the punishment has changed but God's heart has not. He is still disappointed. He is still hurt. The church should speak on the subject, that I agree, but to accept the behavior, I will never. You have a choice to commit sin. Homosexuality is a sin, you have a choice. Just because someone has an attraction for 12 year old woman from youth and now is grown and still desiring can we accept that because he couldn't help it and all his life he desired it? I love sex but it is a sin to do it before marriage, so we should disregard that also huh? I am deeply concerned about the way people look at this subject as though it should be accepted. The day my Pastor decides to marry same sex couples is the last day that I will attend that church. The Bible is the Word of God and if you are to be teaching from the Word of God how you can even begins to accept this and present it to the congregation as acceptable. I'm not against loving all people but I do stand for something! Homosexuals need to dig deep, find where these unnatural behavior like feelings came from, address those issues, work on the behavior, cleanse their minds, take action on their future and work harder to prevent the problem...

I pretty much disagree with everything you wrote.
Homosexuality is not a sin. I took the time to read your blog, here's my response to what you have said: http://progressiveu.org/192100-bible-never-condemns-homosexuality
"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." -F.N.
No matter how you want to turn words around and make it whatever, homosexuality is a choice. To say that it isn't is ridiculous. If I am a man loving young girls (ages 11 and under) should we also make that a "not sin"? Leviticus clearly states that homosexuality is a sin punishable by death (stoning) so why believe in some of the bible and not all? True, the punishment for the sin has changed but God's heart hasn't. Your choice to be a woman loving woman or a man loving man is immoral. A man loving young girls is the same analogy. So are you saying we should now make it a law that child porn and grown people desiring underage people ok? I mean after all, so many people are doing it and of course they were born with those desires? If you are going to quote the bible then stop trying to make adjustments to make it meet your sick, inhumane like desires.
Alece!
