It is hard for me to chose between McCain and Obama because my parents are voting for McCain but some of his ideas for some of the issues just don't sit right with me. Then again neither does Obama's ideas. In my US Government my teacher has been going over some of today's issues and what McCain and Obama thought about it then we would have to pick who we thought had great ideas for that issue. I just need to see what other young people think about the up coming election and who should be our next President. Basically, it is also on who we think should be our next President because we should feel that our President will do whatever it takes to not only defend our United States but to also fight for what is right and is not afraid to stand up and say what is on his mind and to tell us what he thinks and not what is based on what others think or say. So tell me what you think and who you are planning on voting for President to be in our White House and is doing what you feel is a great President and doing his job.
It is a hard for young people to pick who becomes President all based on who their parents chose...What do you think about this?

Since when were you your parents? You're your own person, make your own decision, regardless of what way your parents vote.
That said, the best way to do it is to do research, not just on the two prime candidates, but all of them. VoteSmart has a complete list. You won't be able to find a candidate in which you completely agree with everything, but the idea is to find one that you agree with the most.
On a side note, something like this would probably be better as a forum topic, since the blog section is designed for you to share your ideas with us first. The forums are more designed for creating discussion. (You can't post a blog and a forum topic that are the same, so this is just for future reference.)
