As I was sitting in class the other day, a debate started about the war in Iraq. Surprise? Not quite. The Iraq war is all that can be discussed...but that isn't the problem. If you don't like something, talking about it does little. People do not react or listen to words. People do react to actions. Am I advocating the use of violence? Certainly not. But as students (as we are the future) it is our job to make sure our world is how we want it. When our parents were our age, a similar situation was happening in Vietnam. And get this....they protested! Moral of the story....do something. There are hundreds of specific groups...which means there are some that are just right for you!
Because this blog could be seen as somewhat contradicting, here are some links to groups that I'm a fan of...you may not like them, and that's fine...just get out there and fight.
