Yes it has happened, there is a new funeral profession that advocates the lower cost funeral.
It is called " The Funeral Negotiator" or "The Funeral Advocate" This is an individual or group of individuals who charges you a few hundred dollars and guarantees to save you more than a thousand US dollars on your Funeral.

Your Funeral Guy and RestinPeace supports these individuals. It is a positive step in helping others lower their funeral costs on services like embalming and cremation. I have not engaged in taking money for helping others lower the cost of funerals but I have helped families negotiate a lower cost funeral with Funeral Directors. (Rest in peace, AKA Your Funeral Guy, does not take money for this service to date nor is he connected with anyone who does this) With that said there is a video put out by http://www.knbc.com that explains all this. Check out the "You Tube" video here.

This is a positive step to a lower cost funeral the '"Funeral Negotiator" However I believe the best way to help people lower the cost of Funerals is to help them become their own advocate or negotiator. Quite simply this is done by giving people information. It is done through blogs and other media resources.. With some basic funeral cost and funeral expenses information one can easily become your own funeral negotiator.

A good understanding of four subjects will make it possible for anyone to lower the cost of their funerals.
1. Negotiating Skills
2.Personal Expenses
3 Funeral Choices
4 Funeral expenses
The first two subjects will help you through anything in life and give you Personal Freedom, broad prosperity and a better future in anything in life.
The third and fourth subject will help you with Your Own Lower Cost Funeral and funeral expenses.
This information comes directly from the experience of RestinPeace, AKA your funeral guy, R.Brian Burkhardt
