For a long time in my life I didn't really have a religion. I'm Hmong and my father comes from a Shaman family, my mother comes from a Christian family. The kids were mixed. We all believed in God but we also do Shaman rituals. When I was younger I didn't really understands the rituals though. I went to church occasionally with my mom's family. I went to church school over summer vocation once. I never really believed in only 1 God. Lots of christian kids tell me I'm not christian if I believe in more than 1 God. My paternal Grandma died then and she hasn't taught much Shaman stuff to us so I wasn't really a Shaman either. I was lost, at that time I really liked horror movies and books. I decided to become a witch. I was young and I wanted to do magic. I didn't believe in magic though, I mostly wanted to be a witch because I wanted to try spells and see if they were true. I quit in about 1 month. I decided to become Atheus, not having a religion.
Years go by, I'm older now and bored. I decided to search the net, play some games, then I thought why not google witchcraft? I did it because I was bored and I wanted to know how much more hocus pocus was on the net. Then I came by the real stuff. Wicca
Wicca is true witchcraft. There is no magic but magick. For me Wicca is the study of nature and it's.... i don't know.....essence. I think nature is real magick and Wicca just seems to fit me more. They believe in many Gods, so much I can't name them. I don't know much about Wicca all I have is some websites and some books but don't know what is true and not. I don't know how to initiate myself. I'm looking for some help here, I need a teacher.

Okay basically, its ALL wrong. Wicca is not correct. Just go with some christian religion, any Christianity. Even mormons. cuz even they are better than wiccans.
Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. No, I don't believe in Wiccan. In fact, I feel it is rather satanic. But then again, I know very little about Wiccans. I don't judge a person on what they believe. Neither should you. If you don't have anything productive to say about someone's post. Don't say anything at all. You didn't even explain why it's wrong.
If you can't do anything but whine, try not talking at all.

Christianity originates from Wicca. Wicca is one of the oldest religion. Do some research before you judge.
Actually, if one were to say that Christianity originates from any religion, it is Judeism. They share the Old Testament, and many of the same beliefs. Where in the world did you get the idea that Christianity comes from Wicca.
And Wicca is bad. It is demon-worship (even though they don't know it). It doesn't sound like your mom was a true Christian to me. I suggest checking out 'A More Excellent Way' by Henry Wright. You can find it on Amazon.com.
Judeism originates from Wicca too. One of the reason I like Wicca so much is that it's so old and so many religions connects to it. Christianity and Judeism came thousands of years after Wicca.
We don't worship demons. We don't even believe in demons. We don't even believe in hell. We beleive that the Gods create life and after we die we are reincarnated and the cycle continues until we learn all of life's lessons and go to a better place.
I came after Hitler did... Does that mean I originated from him? (I hope not... >__< )
Your logic is faulty. Judaism came before Wiccan... For sure. Considering Adam was the first man.... I guess Cain could be the first Wiccan if you wish. In a way, Wiccan was the SECOND religion...

If this person wants to be Wiccan, you have no say whatsoever in that decision, and it isn't your place to try.
So I assume you believe the same for Buddhism, Islam and Hindu? You need a reality check.
Well... It started out nice. Unfortunately you let the topic drop dead. Once you had my attention, you never went anywhere with it. You didn't tell me WHY you like Wicca, you never told me any details about it. You never told me why it appealed to you more than other religions. Decent writing, but it's not a true blog. There is so much about Wicca and I have so little time to write. I read 2 books on it and visited some websites. Basically I like how it focuses on nature and how the number 1 rule is to do no harm to others. People may think being Wicca means we worship devils and curse people but we don't. We can do what we want as long as we don't hurt nature or others. We also believe in reincarnation and karma. In fact we believe anything we do comes back at us 3 times nicer/worse depending on what you do.
Okay you are definitly new to learning about wicca. Websites are NOT the way to go in learning. Websites can be built by anyone so someone like you could decide that they know everything about wicca and build a site. Books are much better.
To find out what myths you have already learned read my blog Wicca=Devil Worshipper. I have a lot of myths written in there to educate people.
Also do NOT do any spells yet. Not until you learn what you are doing. Uneducated energy is just as bad as ill intent energy which is why people who dwelve into out of curiousity get scared.

Yes I am new to wicca. I look at websites but hardly ever really trust the stuff. Like you said they could be written by anyone. I have 2 books and I look at other books too but they don't help much since they pretty much just state the same thing over. I won't do any spells anytime soon until I understand Wicca better. I'm really cautious about that. I don't even know how to close or open a circle.
