In order for Love

It's kind of funny how it is said that the strongest relationships result from two independent people...

How it takes being able to stand on your own two feet to be able to be happy with someone, and when two people are together not because they need eachother but because being with one another makes them happy, the relationship will be better.

But maybe love is only for the ones who need it the most. Maybe, if you try not to need it, if you try to support yourself 100%, you won't need it.

And then, if you don't need it, why should you get it?
Why should you even want it?
Why is it that those who try so hard to be someone who can be loved don't get that in return?

I just don't understand "love."
Maybe everybody I know who claims to be in love really has no idea what love is.
Maybe, by needing it, they are opening their heart to anyone, and when they satisfy their emptiness they close the doors to something more true, more powerful.

I don't think I believe there is a someone for everyone. I just don't see things that way. I have seen too many people deserving of that right person ending up slapped in the face, and without ever having experienced true love.

At this point, I don't know if it is even worth it anymore. I'm pretty happy on my own. I feel that I don't need anyone in my life, and in fact I know it would be detrimental especially right now. If that means I am independent, then I feel that it means I have no incentive to try. I am ready for the possibility that I may never find "love," whatever it is. The thing that bothers me is that I am okay with that.

I don't know if I will ever have the courage to open my heart, knowing that in doing so I may sacrifice being content for the risk of getting hurt.

yeah i understand what youre saying. i think that people that are independent usually dont say in relationships long but thats just how i see things. i think that whenever a person wants another person to be there and needs them to be there, they usually are there..

If you can stand your boy/girlfriend kissing another in front of your eyes without it affecting you whatsoever emotionally (like in bad), this means you are in a full state of “Love Bliss”.

It might sound ridiculous, weird and strange, but it’s the happy truth we should all pursue, haha

Anyhow, one who lingers in such a bliss, caries no need to have a boy/girlfriend.

Even the desire of sexual intimacy becomes unimportant.

When a person becomes One, he/she is becomes the experience in full effect…
