All Men Are Created Equal

Qu'ran: "All men are created equal in terms of original creation"

Bible: "All Men Are Created Equal In The Sight Of God"

Torah: Mishna 15a: All Men are Created Equal

No matter what you believe in or how religious you are the truth of the matter is that all men are created equal. So does your religion, race, or culture really make you any different or better than anyone else? I don't understand why some people still insist it does. I say we begin to listen to what we preach, right our wrongs and finally throw off the shackles of segregation, we restrict ourselves no longer into a community we think better than others because we have more in common. We have all in common with everyone, we are people, everyone is created alike. We allow to love not by which book they worship, the color of their skin, nor the country that they come from, but to love without restraint. Just because they are a person, just like them, just like you, just like me. We do this and maybe reach for a better tomorrow. Hope that one day our children or our children's children will grow up in a world where they won't have to worry about whether love is "right or wrong." In the end we are all alike, we hurt, we feel, we think, and we love. And in the end no matter what you believe in, no matter what you worship or how much you dissect it. Everything will point you to one truth, "All men are created equal."

I agree completely. This was very well expressed and I only hope to see more people like you and I that feel the same and are not afraid to speak up about it.

Welcome to the world of millions of hopefuls like Martin L. King, Malcolm x, Ghandi, etc. etc. The world you are talking about, one not only with equality for all, but one without intolerance, without hate based on someones race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. etc.

However, in the world we live in today, this is all but impossible. Because we all live in different regions, and are expected to be each regions own version of patriotic, and we are expected to be good religiously (depending on if your religious or not) and because of
the latter expectation, there is already some sort of intolerance, or at least disdain of differences for all except for the largely open minded

I have to agree with Makesta. As much we want the world to be peaceful and for everyone to understand and respect each other and each others beliefs, it really isnt gonna happen. God has created all of us equal, however he also created free will and the ability for each of us to have a mind and opinion of our own. Our parents have taught us one way, its the way we grow up and it's hard to break through that.

From day one my parents taught me what was good and what is bad. Till this day I remember what can get me in trouble and what can't. Anyone who tells me otherwise is "wrong". My point is many people will be stubborn, what they say is what they say. They are right. And that is it period. Their church is better, their beliefs are better, their race is better. It really is all about pride and culture. The world is full with pride and that is the human default.
