I do not understand the debate over birth control, which has become a religious debate. Those who claim to be fighting for the unborn, claim that birth control is a chemical abortion or playing god. My question is if they are so concerned with playing god, then do they refuse antibiotics, surgery, and most medical care. Do they refuse to eat genetically altered food, such as tomatoes (which contain trout genes to increase their shelf-life). Do they refuse the many inventions that could be considered playing god. More often than not, they don’t. It’s seems the only time the religious are concerned with playing god are when it comes to birth control and women’s reproductive rights.
