Ok, so I need to know. Are there any Hannah Montana fans out there? Although I can’t stand this girl, I know there are probably many readers out there that are thinking “You must like her just a little bit to be wasting a whole blog on her”. The truth is, I don’t. Trust me, I don’t. This is the reason for my blog…I honestly want to know what the big deal is with her! THAT’S ALL. If you like Miss Miley Cyrus, fine. That is just fine. Can you just tell me why? In my opinion, she overacts, she can’t sing that well, and she is not a good role model for the children that watch her. What does she do that inspiring, in a positive way, for these children? I can’t think of anything. I also think that she would have never made it in this business without her dad. Granted there are many celebrities who simply become famous because of their parents, but I think this is going a little too far. The girl hasn’t even reached 16 and she already has Cds, a TV show, her own 3D Movie, a concert tour, and much more. Just the other day when I was at the mall, Radio Disney was there and they must have had about 3 cardboard posters of her. Every store I went into I heard her songs playing!!! Its like I can’t get away. I don’t care if people like her. I’ll admit she’s not the worst icon Hollywood has right now. But why should I have her shoved down my throat? Even in Hallmark, the first thing I saw was a whole section of Hannah Montana cards that sang to you. Enough is enough!

I must admit that Hannah Montana...

the TV show is my guilty pleasure, and I am in my thirties! I think the show is adorable.

The thing that I like most about her (Miley Cryus) is that she is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the way younger celebrities behave and hopefully she will continue to go down the decent path she appears to be on. I think Hollywood parents can take lessons from her parents and when she is old enough to go out on her own, she will remember what she has been taught and not turn into another statistic.

For those not familiar Miley has an allowance, chores, goes to church every Sunday, has a curfew and still gets grounded.

I wonder, when Disney started the Hannah Montana TV show did they know how big it would get? Did they already have in mind "we are going to do this show and make it into a huge concert ect"

I wouldn't exactly call myself a fan...but I do like that show, it's pretty funny.
My little sisters though...that's a whole other story..lol They absolutely love it.

I agree with the first comment. Hannah Montanna is my guilty pleasure. I understand how people can say she isnt talented but I like her music it is kind of catchy and I like her show.

I agree with your post. She does overact, and all the show teaches the children to do is celibrate mediocrity. The only episode I watched all the way through was the episode where she pretends her brother is her boyfriend (which I thought just a tad inapropreate). While I agree that she is a better role model for kids, they should choose their role models based on what they do for humanity.
