The American Academy of Pediatrics released a statement last year that said the decision of infant circumcision should be left to parents. Yet multiple countries are currently outlawing the practice, calling it barbaric. What are your thoughts?

The Supreme Court has recently upheld the individual mandate clause of the PPACA. This was the most critical part of the law, and now states have begun to prepare for the changes that will take place in 2014. There are various means by which organs are acquired throughout the world. In the US, we have an opt-in policy, where only those who have agreed to donate their organs (and whose families agree post-humously) have their organs harvested. In the UK, there is an opt-out system in place, where any individual is deemed a potential donor unless they have specifically opted out. In Israel, they have an opt-in system, but there is a caveat in place where those who have opted in get preference over those who have chosen not to.

Which method do you agree with the most?

To tell you the truth, I'm a little surprised we haven't already been overrun with blog entries regarding the candidates... or at least heartfelt please regarding whether or not you should vote for Candidate X because "he's the best" or whatever reasons you have.

Peeing on Corpses, What's So Wrong with That?

Four Marines peeing on the dead bodies of their enemies. What's so wrong with that?

Oh yes. Everything.

Sure, war is hell and niceties play by different rules, but there are things to consider. Sure, these were enemies of our country, people who believe in killing as many of us as possible. They may deserve no respect at all, but--
